Titus 2 Tuesday - This Hurts Me More Than It Hurts You

Photobucket

Here we are at another
Titus 2 Tuesday! It is easy to join in-just answer the question below:

This week I am honoring yet another "virtual" friend, Gretchen. Not only is she witty, original, and someone who is real about her Christian walk; but she is also wise beyond her years. (Yes, I said "beyond" even with your birthday!)

Check out what I learned from her (her photo and phrase):

"Unplugging from the blogosphere today."

There are days when I have to "unplug" in order to maintain balance with my face to face world. It is not an easy thing to do. I almost always have things swirling in my mind that I would love to write about. Plus, I enjoy reading all of your blogs and posts so much that it genuinely bothers me if I get behind and miss some of them. But when Gretchen posted this, I couldn't ignore the sense of freedom it provided me knowing that others share that same need.

Oh, and this is my all time favorite post of hers so far!

So, what have you learned from another woman this week (or ever)?

B.i.n.g.o.! No one likes to feel like she's missing out. I cannot tell a lie--I got this idea from Sarah (In the Midst of It), and then more recently, from Mer (Life @ 7000 feet). We all get by with a little help from our friends, no? During lent especially, I'm trying to keep out of the blogosphere on Fridays. I just have to keep telling myself that I can hear/see more clearly that which should have my attention when I'm more balanced. But it's hard!

This is why I lurve your teachable heart.

Thanks for the honor today, Shanda. Blessings!

As I shared with you, Shanda, I love to read every word that my cyber-sisters have to say, and I also get genuinely anxious when I get behind in sharing their respective journeys. How liberating to remember that we are accountable only to the Lord! He will lead and guide us, even in cyberspace. :-)

Praying His richest blessings over you today!

Hi there! Just popping over to tell you that you guessed correctly! SEATTLE...home of Gretchen and my beloved Starbucks. Probably wouldn't have given it up if I'd known I was going there, but alas, I will endure some true sacrifice.

Love that you learned something from Gretchen. I love her and yes! we're gonna connect while there. John would love to meet her too!
