These are tender moments we need to cherish. That is so funny about her yelling 'Go away in Jesus' Name!' Your children know the power and authority they have in His Name, and it is a Truth that will never leave them. What an awesome lesson! I agree it is never too early to start teaching your children how to fight against the "powers and principalities".

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and for agreeing to pray for the teen from out youth group.

His first surgery went well although they are having to keep him fully sedated. They tried to bring him out of it and when he started to come around he tried to pull at all of his tubes and wrappings and such so they put him back under, which is very exciting, because we still have no clue about the extent of brain damage. This at least indicates he is aware of things that are wrong! Praise God! His physical recovery is estimated to be AT LEAST a year. God has already done some AMAZING and AWESOME miracles in this situation and we are believing for a complete mental recovery.

Shannonseesawfaithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15628579292591370761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8436491287902349873.post-37142764133189675592009-02-22T00:06:00.000-05:002009-02-22T00:06:00.000-05:00That is definitely my favorite scripture on fear t...That is definitely my favorite scripture on fear too. I would say that you have given your children the greatest gift that a parent can give; the knowledge, at a very young age, that Jesus is REAL, and He chases away fear. ALL fear. That's something that most of the people in this country NEED to know right about now; think it might be time for a good old fashioned revival? I loved your verse that you left at my blog... definitely a favorite, and like everything else in The Book, definitely true. Even now I can walk by and find her reading the passages we highlighted on fear, then she sighs, turns off the light, and goes back to sleep.

What a great thing you have given your children- instead of teaching them that their mom can solve all their problems, you've taught them how to turn to the only One who is with them always and who has the only power to do anything about it.

WELL DONE!His Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13615344417588586576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8436491287902349873.post-68218887615386938182009-02-19T21:04:00.000-05:002009-02-19T21:04:00.000-05:00You are so right!
